Love

What does it mean to tell someone you love them?

To me it means that you love the smile on their face, the tattoo on their left arm, their sense of humor, their guidance, their laughter, their mannerisms, their outlook on life, their disposition..You love them.

Not who you think they are..but who they really are.

The thought of them crosses your mind when you are in the grocery store,  at work, at the gas station and while you are at home doing the chores.

You have to  like this person and accept them for who they are, then you can love.

It has taken me over 20 years to realize this.

However, I do not believe that the feeling is mutual for him. But if I hadn’t taken that risk I may have regreted it later, who knows.
