My dearest blogger friend you asked a penny for my thoughts..to loosely quote you: you asked about waking up in the middle of the night and wondering what is certain in life (the old death and taxes thing just doesn’t cut it)..Nope it sure doesn’t. Let’s give this a try, see what you think..
There is, I am sure a standard definition of certainty, however I choose to believe that it is an absolute, a guarantee, a constant. What in God’s name is certain in the world we live in today?..I choose to believe this..as rhetorical/theoretical as it may sound, the one certainty in our lives is our self.
I firmly believe that you were created exactly as you were meant to be. I am certain that you were born into this world to add a uniqueness that NO ONE else could provide. You have a distinct personality, you have certain likes and dislikes, you look a certain way, you have your own unique voice, you have your own way of doing things, you may choose to take or give from society. There is no one else like YOU and that is a guarantee! What a powerful concept!
Unfortunately some choose to use it to the detrement of others and think of themselves as superior, while others choose to ignore that uniqueness and indulge in self destructive behavior, never waking up in the middle of the night to realize there is no one else on this earth who has the ability to share such a unque gift with others; themselves.
This my friend is my deepest and sincerest hope for others and myself is that at some point we realize that we are who we are for a reason. Through the good times and the bad times there must be a purpose and that is what I have to believe. ” I am here in this world and I am just as I was made to be, there is a reason and it is my obligation to my creator to discover each and every piece as the days go by. Ultimately to look back as I take my last breath and see the puzzle with all it’s pieces in place.
I challange you with those thoughts..I am certain Rhanford 55 is exactly the man he was intended to be, thorns and all..make the best of it and share the gift of YOU!
