LOL..a sad response to “Memories” only could come from a cold heart..or one that is void..and that is without question a sad thing!

That’s What Friends are For

I happen to have some of the most wonderful friends! Yesterday I questioned my faith and a very good friend reminded me I needed to check myself.  I did.. Not being afraid to say what I needed to hear was worth a thousand words.

Tonight  I had a very dear friend call to just ask “are you OK?”..that to me was priceless! No texting, no emailing, no IM..a real honest to God pick up the phone and make the effort to dial a few numbers and hear a true voice on the other end. That meant something.

Then I realized..God is not spiteful or deaf..HE just comes to the rescue when HE knows you need it the most, not necessarily when you think you need it the most. Truly, perfect timing!

I was being very selfish by questioning faith..when all the while HE was watching and waiting for the perfect time to let those most special to me guide me..

At the end of the day two sets of footprints turned into one..

This is my 8 year old son’s favorite song..should I be alarmed or just LMHO as he sings every word out of tune and rocks it out! And yes, when he blurts out “Hey Sexy Lady”..we have had ‘the talk’..and he get’s it. You are expected to treat any young lady as you would treat your mother.

Monday

What a weekend! Sunday was a true “ED” day at work. People who really needed help.

I am so tired..I think maybe today I will take it easy and continue to be thankful for the people God has brought into my life.

Suggestion..you my friend, my fellow blogger, may want to do the same.

Breaking News “Women in Combat”

OMFG! Did you doubt that a muzzle would work this time?

Women have been fighting for our country long before now. And my Government just now decides to put  an “offiicial” stamp of approval on it?

Shame on you, no I want to say “to hell with you” for not recognizing the sacrifices of a soldier until now!!

There are women in arms across the Globe. They are our American Soldiers and you damn well need to recognise!

Specialist Devin Snyder I thank you for your sacrifice, along with the untold number of women who stood beside you!!
